- I too, have been trying to get rid of the annoying screen flash when
- the compiled program starts:
-
- I had a go at using "Send AMOS to back on booting", with "Create
- Default Screen" turned off and so long as the "Amos To Front" command
- is called after the first screen is opened, the flashing no longer
- occurs. However, now I get a white hollow rectangle spanning the
- width of the visible display (not the screen) at the top of the
- display about 10 pixels deep. This flashes on and then disappears,
- but makes the startup look quite unprofessional. (I setup my screen at
- startup with all colours on screen set to black).
-
- In short, what appears to be a blank menu bar, appears just after the
- Amos To Front command, and then disappears - I do not use any menus
- or menu commands in my program.
-
- Any ideas?
-
- Cheers,
-
- Mark
