  10. I too, have been trying to get rid of the annoying screen flash when 
  11. the compiled program starts:

  13. I had a go at using "Send AMOS to back on booting", with "Create 
  14. Default Screen" turned off and so long as the "Amos To Front" command 
  15. is called after the first screen is opened, the flashing no longer 
  16. occurs. However, now I get a white hollow rectangle spanning the 
  17. width of the visible display (not the screen) at the top of the 
  18. display about 10 pixels deep. This flashes on and then disappears, 
  19. but makes the startup look quite unprofessional. (I setup my screen at 
  20. startup with all colours on screen set to black).

  22. In short, what appears to be a blank menu bar, appears just after the 
  23. Amos To Front command, and then disappears - I do not use any menus
  24. or menu commands in my program.
